Moodygirl's Iced Adaptogen Pumpkin Spice Latte

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup espresso (or strong cold brew)

  • 1 cup of dairy-free milk (Leah recommends Elmhurst)

  • 1 tbsp pumpkin puree

  • 2 tsp raw Manuka honey

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice

  • 1/2-1 tsp Maca

  • Pinch of Himalayan or sea salt

  • Optional: Moodygirl Libido Lover or That Time of the Month chocolate bar and coconut milk whipped cream

I've talked about my adoration for Moodygirl like way too many times. It's one of the few products I do eat, use, or take every single day, without fail. So Leah, the CEO, shared her go-to PSL recipe with me, and I do say it might be the most delicious/nutritious drink I've ever tried (I mean, don't you just drool looking at the pic?). There are so many great superfoods included in this recipe, but the adaptogenic maca root is not only highly nutritious and loaded with nutrients like vitamin C, iron, and fiber, but it helps increase libido, balances hormones, improves your mood, and helps energy. A serving of maca with the benefits of Moodygirl chocolate and it's like magic.

Melt a few pieces of the Moodygirl chocolate bar over the stove and then pour into a chilled glass (or save some to drizzle on top!). While the chocolate cools, blend coffee, pumpkin puree, milk, honey, vanilla extract, and maca on high for a few minutes until blended. Pour over ice into the chilled glass and top with coconut whipped cream (optional) and pumpkin pie spice. Turn on Hocus Pocus and enjoy!
