My Lisa Rinna Bag of Pills

I like to be prepared. Especially when it comes to how I feel in my body (wellbeing is absolutely the most important currency), I want to make sure I have every possible tool at my disposal to feel as amazing as I possibly can. During travel, you’re out of your routine and your detoxification system is likely working overtime (RE: spicy margaritas), but it’s also the worst time for a symptom (such as sluggish digestion, a headache, or cramps) because you want to be as present, energized, and clear as possible in order to fully enjoy the vacation. My fix: What I call my Lisa Rinna Bag of Pills (OG RHOBH fans get it): the supplements, pills, and powders I bring when traveling to not only get rid of any possible symptom that may come up, but also help support my body and improve my overall wellbeing so I feel as amazing as possible. I recently talked about my wellness kit on a recent episode of The Everygirl Podcast, so here’s an exact list in case your hands got tired from typing into your Notes app while listening. Whether you’re traveling to St. Tropez or your hometown, these supplements will be your bestest friends.

In My Pillbox

(the supplements I take on a daily basis every morning and night)

*My Pillbox*

AM:

  • Probiotic Combo: Especially while traveling, I try to use a good quality probiotic with prebiotics and postbiotics for optimal gut health

  • Glutathione: The most powerful master antioxidant to help support liver detoxification and cellular repair

  • Turmeric Liver Support: Especially when I’m drinking alcohol, I love this powerful blend daily

  • Multivitamin: Most multivitamins contain an excessive amount of vitamins so I don’t always think they’re necessary, but I do like a multivitamin when I’m traveling somewhere I know I won’t be eating as healthy as usual, just to fill nutritional gaps

PM:

  • Arrae Sleep Capsules: the best melatonin-free supplements to not only help you stay asleep but sleep well throughout the night

  • Magnesium: good for relaxing the body and helping with digestion for the next day (I also bring extra in case I get a headache)

My Lisa Rinna Bag

(A big ziploc bag of supplements I always have on hand)

To Take daily:

  • Electrolytes & Minerals: Really help with energy and optimal wellbeing when you’re on a vacation (especially if it’s hot out or you’re drinking)

  • Colostrum Packets: So many longterm benefits, but really helps with gut health and preventing getting sick while on vacation

  • Throat Spray: If you get sick often (especially when you travel), this will change your life

  • Propolis & Vitamin C Packets: To make sure I don’t get sick when I’m traveling/running on little sleep/in my Luteal phase when my immune system is slightly down, I’ll take these on vacation

in certain cases:

  • Activated Charcoal: I swear by this to prevent hangovers in the short-term, and also helps the body detoxify so good whenever drinking period

  • Digestive Enzymes: I like that you take these ones before eating so you don’t have to remember after, and they begin helping you break down food as soon as you start eating–I take these before most meals on vacation since I’m typically not eating easy-to-digest food when traveling

  • Blood Sugar Balance Pills: I take these before eating any meal high in carbohydrates to help manage my glucose levels for hormonal & metabolic health

  • Arrae Constipation: Works like a charm every time (and natural made with herbs, not fiber or laxatives–will not make you go urgently)

  • Arrae Heartburn: Because the last thing you want on a beach day is acid reflux or heartburn (love that these are all natural herbs)

  • Bonine Non-Drowsy Motion Sickness Tablets: 100% of uses have been used to cure hangover nausea

If I’m getting my period…

  • Love Wellness Cycle Soothe: Good for PMS symptoms and can help reduce cramping when you take it in luteal phase

  • Caffeine-Free Complete Midol: The only time I’ll take a pain reliever for cramps is on vacation (usually symptoms are my body’s way of communicating with me I don’t want to ignore, but on vacation I just want to be sympom-less!). These ones not only have pain-reliever for cramps, but are also a diuretic and antihistamine which will help with bloating and water retention.
