Old Hollywood Gallery Wall

I am fairly certain that my most recent past life was in Hollywood in the 1950s. If I could wear ankle-length skirts every day and listen to nothing except Frank Sinatra, I absolutely would. I have always been obsessed with both Old Hollywood (the glamour!) and Paris (the jazz!) during this time. So when we moved into our new apartment last year, I knew I wanted to fill a wall with pictures that make me feel transported, inspired, and happy. Also, a full black and white wall is just so chic. Yes, we moved over a year ago and it’s taken me this long to get the gallery wall up because I took my time to find the exact right prints (at an affordable cost). I didn’t want the cliche Breakfast at Tiffany’s print (but no offense if you have it because it’s still one of my favorite movies of all time, and the LBD with pearls and sunglasses CANNOT. BE. BEAT). But I wanted to take my time to find prints that I clicked with or resonated with me. In other words, I did the work of finding the best of the best so you don’t have to. While I opted for smaller sizes to fit into a gallery wall, I think any of these prints would be gorgeous in a bigger size as the accent piece in any room or wall (another thought: I love a small framed print leaned against the mirror on a vanity, or against a desk–so stylish). I looked all over Ebay, Amazon, etc. but all of the prints I loved ended up being from smaller sellers on Etsy. Shop on for all the links to my favorite prints (and they’re all under $20!).
